All about Zakynthos

In the courtyard of the church of Agia Paraskevi in Meso Volimes, next to the bell tower, in 1980, a marble slab monument was built, with a relief of the representation of Liberty, crowned with laurels and wearing an antique tunic. She is holding a laurel branch in her hand, while the verses are engraved on the lower part of the plaque:"Light that treads on the ground Hades and Death'. D. Solomos'.
