All about Zakynthos

The Milaneio Naval Museum, located in Tsilivi, 6 km from Zakynthos town, is named after its founder Antonio Milano. Its collection consists of watercolours, relics of ships of the same name and photographic material, depicting the evolutionary course of the Naval History of the Greek nation, uniforms, swords, medals, compasses, shields, etc. The Naval Gallery documents 4,000 years of Greek maritime history from Antiquity, Byzantium, the Greek Revolution of 1821, the 19th and 20th centuries.
