All about Zakynthos

In Agios Pavlos Square the whole economic and social fabric of pre-earthquake Zakynthos unfolds. Here, one by one, open-air fish stalls with fish were gathered, from which the villagers and the "pioneers" shopped. On one side was the mansion of the Logothetis family and on the other, the house of the merchant Sarakinis, who was an important social factor.From the Agiou Gianniou canteen, a road led down to the Markas, the market with the butchers and the covered fishmongers of the town.
