Members of the Padouveris family (Bandoer or Vador) had joined the Citizens' Council of the Zakynthian Community in 1737, in place of the Avastagos family.
In the garden of their residence they discovered the statue of Saint Crescentius, built a church to him and baptized their male children with his name.
Crescentios Padouveris participated in 1770 in the "Orlofika" and even equipped a galleon at his own expense. Padouveris and the other Zakynthian
captains attacked Ilia, destroyed the Turkish villages and occupied Pyrgos and Gastouni.
On 5 July 1770 he participated with his ship in the naval battle between Orlov's fleet and the Turkish fleet of Kanda at Chios, during which the fleet of Constantinople was completely destroyed.
According to Chiotis, Alexios Orloff scolded Pantuveris for his violence against the Christians in Ilia and he replied that he could not be punished because he was a Venetian "noble".
Then Orloff angrily ordered his hanging "with all his Venetian decorations" (awards).
The house was completely destroyed in 1953. Also destroyed the statue which the then owner Sp. Carrer had donated to the library of Zakynthos.
