All about Zakynthos

Thin snake of medium size. The length extends up to one meter. It is usually olive green, brown or in a shade of gray. It has various spots on its back that, however, do not form a pattern. Most commonly found at sea level. Daily and fast is characterized by the speed of hunting as it climbs low shrubs and trees. Its food is mainly lizards, small snakes, small rodents, other invertebrates or bird chicks. May is the breeding season and they lay 4-10 eggs during the period June-July.
