All about Zakynthos

It is accompanied by the song "O kynigos kai i kalogria" (meaning The hunter and the nun). It is performed in 2/4 time by men and women, who hold each other by the shoulders in an open circle. Formerly, it was danced by the women in a separate circle from the men, with the hands held by the palms. The dance pattern includes twelve steps.
