All about Zakynthos

The climb to the holy mountain of the island is a bit difficult, but the unique view and the rich vegetation certainly compensate us. The two recently restored churches, Agios Nikolaos Megalomatis and Panagia Skopiotissa take us back in time. For the -perhaps- best panoramic view of Zakynthos, we need to try a little more and climb the highest rock, the tower of Skopou. During the descent we enjoy the feeling of the mountain with a view of the blue Ionian Sea, Chora, the whole of Brachiona and Kampos, but also up to Kefalonia and the Peloponnese.
